Tips for Class Registration

We changed class registration systems back in 2022 from MindBody to WellnessLiving. If you have been to our studio before or are on our mailing list, you do not need to create a new profile - only to set or reset your password link, using the reset password link and your email as your log-in name. If you didn't get such a link, just text us.

If you need to change class format between in-person and livestream, cancel your original registration and then re-register for the correct format.

Text us at (201) 482-4271 if you have any trouble registering or locating your livestream link (tip: it may be in your SPAM/Updates/Promos or similar type folder).

Late Policy and Cancelations

If you are running late, please text us at (201) 428-4271 as soon as possible and let us know your ETA. With notice and space and other circumstances permitting, we will try to accommodate you up to 15 minutes after the start of class.

If you need to cancel, please be considerate and do so as soon as possible. Cancellations less than 3 hours in advance may result in a loss of class. Depending on the circumstances, we may be able to make an exception if notified prior to the start of class. There currently is no late cancellation penalty for unlimited members.

Refund Policy

We do not offer any refunds but would be pleased to extend you studio credit instead based on the circumstances.

How to Make Class a Wonderful Experience for Yourself and Your Mates:

    • Please remember to turn your CELL PHONE ON SILENT OR OFF mode and answer any emergency calls only once you are in the hallway. Kindly silence any exercise tracking watches and timers too.
    • Try to arrive 5-10 minutes in advance of class. If you are late, please wait for the meditation and OM chant to finish, or if the front desk staff lets you, go in and sit down right away near the entry as quietly as possible so that you do not disturb the energy of the class. Please do not unroll your mat or fuss in any other way until the rest of the class starts moving too.
    • Have a yoga mat! The thick gym/pilates mats have too much stretch and wobble and may even be too short for a vinyasa flow practice. We personally love the Jade, Liforme, and Manduka brands and carry them in our boutique, but a starter grippy yoga mat will also do. You can treat yourself to an upgrade after you do a few flows. We have tester mats and will be more than happy to advise on the different options. (FYI, we match the online prices of authorized U.S.-based retailers.)
    • Wear comfortable clothing that will allow you to move in and out of the yoga poses uninhibited (think gym wear, yoga leggings, tighter fitting tops - you will be inverted for poses such as downward dog). Almost everyone practices barefoot (no socks), and we request that you take your shoes off before entering the studio.
    • It's best to practice on an empty stomach. If you must, have a light snack, but try to do it at least half an hour before practice. You can, of course, drink water.
    • Please try to keep clutter to a minimum in the studio or in your personal practice space. We have a common changing/mat storage room, or you may leave belongings in the Zen Den, which gets locked if no one is there during class.

We encourage you to bring your own mat and, optionally, your own props. If you forget or need to get new ones, we have mats, blocks, straps, and other props for sale in our boutique. We also have rental mats for just $2 (as of the time of writing). We have blankets, blocks, belts, and bolsters for general use in classes.
