Zeni Pepper, E-RYT 500, is the founder of Pure Bliss Yoga studios in Fort Lee and Edgewater, NJ, and regularly leads classes, workshops, teacher trainings and retreats.
She discovered yoga when she was about 14 years old, and has been a yogi for over 30 years now. From a personal passion and a way to balance an intense corporate career, yoga eventually evolved into a lifestyle and a full time pursuit for her. She has been sharing her love for yoga with her students as a teacher and mentor since 2013.
Echoing her multi-faceted life experiences, Zeni’s yoga classes are varied and deep. Her classes are infused with energetic practices, philosophy, mythology, poetry and spirituality, making the yoga teachings more exciting, relatable and personally meaningful. She teaches a broad range - from intelligently weaved vinyasa flow, to blissful restorative yoga, meditation and yoga nidra, She especially loves teaching outdoors in the midst of nature.
Zeni considers herself somewhat of a geek when it comes to yoga philosophy, mythology and especially the 7 Energy Chakras of the subtle body. She really looks forward to sharing the wisdom they hold, and using the Chakras as a roadmap on this spiritual journey through the motherland of yoga!

Shivani Rao, a seasoned yoga practitioner who trained in traditional raja ashtanga yoga in Mysore, India, brings nearly two decades of experience to the mat. Over the past six years, she has passionately shared her profound knowledge and expertise as a yoga instructor, crafting a unique teaching style that seamlessly blends sequences of poses and therapeutic movements.
For Shivani, yoga is more than a physical exercise: it is a harmonious blend of physical and spiritual practices. With a commitment to creating a holistic experience, Shivani empowers her students to enhance not only their physical strength, flexibility, and balance but also to nurture their inner well-being and mindful presence.
Passionate about inclusivity, having traveled to her handpicked destinations multiple times, she curates retreats in locations that culturally enrich and spiritually uplift. This particular retreat is especially dear to her heart, as she is originally from greater New Delhi, and has travelled to most of our selected destinations dozens of times.
